Get your GED. Get more.
In our program, we help students pass the four individual tests that make up the GED: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. But that’s just the beginning. We also help students create a path to a more successful future by offering:
- resume building
- job shadowing
- tours of local trade schools, community colleges, and 4-year colleges
- help completing job and college applications
- help earning college scholarships and financial aid
- free RTD passes (summer 2019)
Plus, enrolled GED students also have the opportunity to take college classes– concurrent enrollment– at Emily Griffith Technical College and local community colleges, free of charge.
The GED Plus program has two Denver locations, both close to major RTD light rail and bus lines; the Osage campus also offers free parking:
New GED students must first visit the 1860 Campus to register as Emily Griffith students. While there, they will register for an orientation session, held over two days on September 4th & 5th or 18th & 19th. Please do not arrive for an orientation session without having previously registered in person. Former students who wish to rejoin the program may return the day after an orientation after they contact their counselor and taking this survey. Click here for more information about enrolling.
