GED Plus

Get your GED. Get more.

In our program, we help students pass the four individual tests that make up the GED: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. But that’s just the beginning. We also help students create a path to a more successful future by offering:

  • resume building
  • job shadowing
  • tours of local trade schools, community colleges, and 4-year colleges
  • help completing job and college applications
  • help earning college scholarships and financial aid
  • free RTD passes (summer 2019)

Plus, enrolled GED students also have the opportunity to take college classes– concurrent enrollment– at Emily Griffith Technical College and local community colleges, free of charge.

The GED Plus program has two Denver locations, both close to major RTD light rail and bus lines; the Osage campus also offers free parking:

1860 Lincoln Street    //    1205 Osage Street

** Some fine print: GED Plus candidates must be 17-20 years old and be able to present a valid government issued ID (foreign or domestic). Students should expect to be in school at least three hours a day, four days week, with some extra tutoring and testing on Fridays. The duration of the program will depend on the individual student’s progress. As long as program requirements are satisfied, Emily Griffith High School will cover the cost of the subject tests ($150.00 total) and all necessary practice tests ($6 each). For more information about the test itself, visit ged.com.
